Data Processing Notice

1. Purpose of this notice

This Data Processing Notice explains how personal information may be used when you ask us about finance, request a finance introduction, or proceed with a finance application in connection with our services.

2. Our role

Yorkshire Boilers and Heating Services Limited is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Ideal Sales Solutions Ltd, t/a Ideal4Finance. Ideal Sales Solutions Ltd is a credit broker and not a lender (FRN 703401). Finance available subject to status. The rate offered is always provisional and will depend upon your personal circumstances, the loan amount and the term.

3. Data that may be processed

Where you enquire about finance or proceed with a finance introduction, the following information may be collected, used and shared where relevant:

• Your contact details and address
• Property and installation information
• Quotation value, deposit information and product details
• Information you provide as part of a finance enquiry or application
• Identity, affordability and credit-related information required by the finance process

4. How the information may be used

Your data may be used to assess your eligibility for finance products; administer and progress a finance enquiry or application; carry out identity, affordability and anti-fraud checks; comply with financial services regulation and internal compliance requirements; and maintain records relating to the finance introduction process.

5. Who your information may be shared with

Your data may be shared with Ideal Sales Solutions Ltd t/a Ideal4Finance, lenders on their panel, credit reference agencies, fraud prevention agencies, and other organisations involved in the assessment, processing, administration or compliance oversight of your finance enquiry or application.

6. Credit reference and fraud checks

Lenders or finance partners may use credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies and may carry out soft or hard credit checks depending on the stage and nature of the application. Exact underwriting, acceptance, rate, term and repayment amounts are matters for the lender and/or finance broker.

Submitting a finance enquiry or application does not guarantee approval. The interest rate, monthly payment, deposit requirement and term offered will depend on your personal circumstances, the loan amount and the selected finance product.
